    The new eArocs 400

    Charged to change construction.

Equipped with long-life lithium iron phosphate batteries (LFP), the eArocs 400 is ready for use day and night. Thanks to its all-electric drive, it is ideal for low-noise and locally CO2‑neutral use in urban construction.

The image shows two eArocs 400 in a large hall with concrete floor and lighting on the ceiling. The eArocs 400 on the right is a concrete mixer, while the eArocs 400 on the left is a tipper vehicle. In the background, a large LED screen displays an image of a construction site.
    Range

    Enough for a full day.

With a range of up to 200 km1 as a concrete mixer and up to 240 km2 for the construction site tipper vehicle, the eArocs 400 easily handles an entire working day – with all its challenges. No matter what you use your eArocs 400 for, you can work during the day and recharge overnight at your leisure.

    Robustness

    Strong and reliable.

Ideally equipped for use in construction: With the usual robust components of the eArocs 400, you can move effortlessly over uneven terrain. Thanks to powerful electric drive and high ground clearance, you can effortlessly master the demands of your construction site.

The image shows a section of an eArocs 400 driving over a dirt hill. The truck has large tyres and robust suspension, which indicates that it is designed for use on construction sites.
The image shows a blue-grey Mercedes-Benz eArocs concrete mixer standing in a hall. In the background, an LED wall shows a simulated scene of a construction project at night with illuminated cranes and bodyshells under a starry sky. In front of the truck are two red and white-striped warning beacons with yellow flashing lights.
    Ready to go

    Ready to go. 24/7.

The battery-electric drive of the eArocs 400 is significantly quieter than conventional diesel engines. This makes it ideal for noise-sensitive environments and zero-emission zones. With at least 50% less energy consumption compared to comparable diesel vehicles and a short charging time3, the eArocs 400 is extremely efficient and flexible in use.

    Multimedia Cockpit Interactive 2

    Digitally thought-out.

The touchscreen of Multimedia Cockpit Interactive 2 and the ergonomic switch panel offer superior operability even on uneven terrain. You can activate numerous functions with voice control – without taking your hands off the steering wheel. Applications relevant to you can be accessed via the favourites menu. And with integrated navigation for eTrucks, you will not only find the route that suits you, but also charging options along the route.

The image shows the interior of a modern truck cab. The focus is on the digital dashboard with two screens, the steering wheel and the controls for functions such as navigation, entertainment and vehicle systems.
    Safety

    Attentive helpers on board.

At the construction site and on the way there: innovative assistance systems keep you safe on the road. This allows you to detect dangers at an early stage, brake in good time and maintain an overview of the traffic situation.

    Video thumbnail

A step forwards for safety: the advanced version of Active Brake Assist is now even better at detecting obstacles and critical situations and reacts with appropriate measures – from clear warning signals to automatic full-stop braking. You will also be notified if the system is not yet fully active.

    Video thumbnail

Safety on both sides as standard: the latest generation of Active Sideguard Assist provides even better support when changing lanes, overtaking and turning in complex situations.

    Video thumbnail

Keeping an eye on everything: Front Guard Assist monitors the area in front of the vehicle and supports the driver with warning signals in the event of possible hazards – for moving off, manoeuvring and turning more safely.

    Video thumbnail

Always alert: everyone gets tired on long, monotonous journeys – but Attention Assist 2 does not. The system can keep an eye on your concentration and recognise when you become inattentive or tired. It can warn you acoustically and visually.

    1 Depending on equipment.

2 Rated capacity of a new battery, based on internally defined framework conditions. May vary depending on the application and environmental conditions.

3 The range was determined under specific conditions based on internal simulations using an 8x4 concrete mixer truck with a permissible gross vehicle weight of 32 t, operating the mixer drum for 8 hours at an ambient temperature of 20°C. It may differ from the values established in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2017/2400 due to various factors such as topography, weather conditions, speed, preconditioning, auxiliary consumers, individual vehicle configuration and driving style.

4 The range was determined under specific conditions based on internal simulations with an 8x4 construction site tipper vehicle with a permissible gross vehicle weight of 32 t, operating the tipper body for 8 hours at an ambient temperature of 20°C. It may differ from the values established in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2017/2400 due to various factors such as topography, weather conditions, speed, preconditioning, auxiliary consumers, individual vehicle configuration and driving style.

5 The charging time is based on the framework conditions defined in ISO/SAE 12906 for heavy-duty commercial vehicles – with 400 kW charging capacity at a conventional DC rapid charging station with 500 A.

6 Assistance systems can only support drivers. The driver is always fully responsible for driving the vehicle safely.

    7 Standard in the EU.

8 Special equipment S2J lets the system prevent the Active Brake Assist 6 Plus emergency braking systems from being deactivated.
